Our work is rooted in the belief that identity grows through connection — to the people around us, to the stories that shape us, and to the places we call home. In communities like those on the outskirts of Guatemala City, where resources may be limited but imagination and resilience thrive, culture becomes a foundation. Through shared traditions, everyday care, and wisdom passed across generations, identity becomes something collective, lived, and deeply held. One of our murals, “Lo que Crece Junto” — “What Grows Together” — reflects this vision. It celebrates community, play, and learning, showing how children and neighbors alike thrive when differences are honored and supported. Just as fruits and vegetables differ in shape, color, and size yet nourish us all, each person brings a unique story that enriches the collective.
Our creative work encourages communities to see difference with curiosity, to value one another fully, and to recognize that dignity begins with being seen and respected. Inspired by the strength of Guatemalan communities, especially the women and girls who have long carried memory, tradition, and hope, we create spaces where pride in one’s roots becomes a source of confidence and possibility. Our goal is simple: to build a future where everyone can flourish together, not despite their differences, but because of them — where culture guides us, community uplifts us, and identity grows with care.
